Cotton
This well-known and popular natural fiber is obtained from the seed hairs of the cotton plant (a type of mallow). The naturally white fibers are excellent for dyeing and processing. This is precisely why cotton remains one of the most commonly used fibers. Cotton is very durable, tear-resistant, and extremely skin-friendly—a fiber for every occasion.
- Washing: Follow the care symbols; wash white laundry with a heavy-duty detergent, colored laundry with a color-safe detergent.
- Tumble drying: Follow the care symbols
- Tip for cotton: If you want to save energy, wash 95°C laundry on the energy-saving cycle. You’ll save about 30% energy and can even add light-colored 60°C laundry to the load. Pre-washing is only necessary for extremely soiled items.
