Major purchases, such as a new washing machine, require careful consideration. After all, you usually have to dig deep into your pockets for appliances like this. In return, you have every right to expect a high-quality product – one that will serve you reliably for many years to come. But what really matters when it comes to washing machines?
When making a major purchase, such as a washing machine, it’s worth giving some thought beforehand to what you expect from the appliance. Ideally, before your current washing machine breaks down and you need a new one straight away. Although: there are also washing machines from premium manufacturers that are available immediately. Schulthess, for example, produces on a just-in-time basis. This means: they produce exactly what has been ordered. And that usually happens very quickly. So, order today, delivered tomorrow.
The new Home Heroes washing machines from Schulthess offer excellent energy efficiency. But they also boast many features that are unique on the market.
cleanJet – it sounds like high speed, and that’s exactly what it is: This new Schulthess technology uses a combination of rotation and pauses to create gaps between the items of laundry in the washing machine. A nozzle then injects the water-detergent mixture at high speed into these gaps – precisely where it is needed. The cleanJet technology also ensures that the detergent dissolves more quickly. The result: a much faster, more efficient and all-round perfect wash.
At Schulthess, premium quality is also evident in components that aren’t visible on the outside of the washing machines. For example, the hidden inner drums of Schulthess washing machines are made of high-quality chrome steel rather than plastic. Their smooth surface prevents germs and bacteria from settling. The washing machine therefore washes much more hygienically. Furthermore, a chrome steel drum lasts considerably longer than one made of plastic. This is one reason why Schulthess washing machines are so robust and durable. And last but not least: at the end of the appliance’s life, stainless steel can be recycled.
A washing machine that irons? Yes, exactly. You can find it at Schulthess. The easyFinish function in Schulthess washing machines ensures that time-consuming and often tedious ironing is a thing of the past. Here’s how it works: the Schulthess washing machine with easyFinish gently cools the fabrics in the drum. At the same time, they are gently stretched hundreds of times in all directions. The drum movement and the washing mechanism are precisely coordinated, effectively removing both vertical and horizontal creases.
Also groundbreaking: Schulthess’s new appliances feature improved stability and quiet operation, detergent drawers fitted with a magnetic Foam Security System to act as a vapour barrier, better protection for the electronics, and easier access to the technical components for any repairs. These are advantages that aren’t immediately obvious, but which offer noticeable benefits.
In most households with their own washing machine, the appliance is no longer kept in the basement. Instead, it’s found in the bathroom, the kitchen or a utility room. Anyone who keeps their washing machine in the living area also cares about its appearance. Plain white is a thing of the past! Design enthusiasts know that Schulthess appliances stand out thanks to their minimalist appearance and the colours of their casings. Sophisticated colour combinations also make the new Schulthess models statement pieces. The machines blend elegantly and unobtrusively into the interior, making the hearts of aesthetes with an eye for detail beat faster. Schulthess washing machines are available in elegant, delicate rosé (Ever Rose washing machine), in elegant gold (Solid Gold washing machine) or in a bold titanium shade (Titan Rock washing machine).
Today’s consumers pay close attention to where a product comes from. Sustainability plays a role here, but so does quality. Schulthess washing machines and tumble dryers are all Swiss-made, and this also applies to the Home Heroes washing machines. The benefits are clear: this label stands for premium quality and durability. Furthermore, manufacturing in our own country enables just-in-time delivery. This means that if you order your washing machine today, you’ll receive it the next day. The shorter transport distances also make the final mile more sustainable.
Until now, it wasn’t entirely clear what you were actually buying when you purchased a new washing machine. Of course, consumers compare different models before making a purchase: what can the washing machine do? What programmes does it have? How energy-efficient is it? From now on, however, you can find out even more about washing machines – namely, just how sustainable they actually are. The Sustainability Index rates a product’s sustainability on a scale of 1 to 10. In other words: how durable. Schulthess has achieved an impressive score of 9 out of 10 on the Sustainability Index for its machines in the home care sector.
At Schulthess, ‘just in time’ means that washing machines are only manufactured once they have been ordered – and very quickly at that. This means that a washing machine ordered today can be delivered as early as the next day. This saves on storage costs and, thanks to production in Switzerland, is also more sustainable.
A key feature is the stainless steel tub inside the machine. Unlike conventional plastic tubs, stainless steel is more durable, more hygienic and fully recyclable. It prevents the build-up of bacteria and significantly extends the machine’s lifespan.
The new Schulthess models offer unique features such as cleanJet for more efficient washing performance, the easyFinish ironing function, and improved ease of repair thanks to various technical modifications.
